NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE / DEPOSIT AGREEMENT

Storm Ink Design – Dustin Storm (Co-Owner, Ink and Oath Tattoo)
Effective Immediately

By scheduling an appointment with Storm Ink Design, the Client (“You”) agrees to the following legally binding terms regarding all booking fees, deposits, design preparation, rescheduling, and cancellations.

1. Booking Fee Requirement

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure any tattoo appointment. Appointments are not confirmed until the booking fee has been paid in full.

Booking fee amounts are as follows:

  • $100 — Half-day session (4–5 hours) or shorter

  • $200 — Full-day session (8 hours)

  • $300 — Extended or multi-session reservation (10–12+ hours)

All booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance.

2. Application of Booking Fee

The booking fee is applied toward the final cost of the tattoo on the last scheduled session, unless only one session is required.
The booking fee covers administrative time, custom design preparation, studio overhead, and the guarantee of reserved artist time.

Booking fees also cover:

  • Payment processing fees

  • Instant transfer fees

  • Sterile, single-use equipment

  • Studio setup and breakdown

  • Time spent preparing custom artwork

3. Fixed Pricing Agreement

A final price or range will be provided during your consultation.
Unless the scope of the design changes, the agreed-upon price will not increase.
The Client acknowledges that hourly rates listed on the website are guidelines and not guaranteed final totals.

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Forfeiture

4.1 Rescheduling

You may reschedule one (1) time with 48 hours’ notice or more.
Your booking fee will transfer to the new appointment date.

4.2 Late Arrival

If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your booking fee is forfeited and your appointment may be cancelled at the artist’s discretion.

4.3 Cancellations and No-Shows

The booking fee is forfeited if you:

  • Cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice,

  • Fail to appear (“no-show”), or

  • Attempt to reschedule more than once.

A new booking fee is required to book any future appointment.

4.4 Expiration

Booking fees expire 90 days after the original appointment date.

5. Design Policy

Designs are presented on the day of the appointment. Time for minor adjustments is included.
If the Client requests changes exceeding 50% of the agreed-upon concept, the booking fee may be forfeited and a new one required.

The Artist retains full artistic discretion and may decline any request outside their specialty.

6. Style, Scope, and Limitations

The Client acknowledges the Artist specializes in:

  • Neo Traditional

  • Illustrative

  • Vibrant Color

  • Cover-Ups

  • Black and Grey

  • Realism & Micro-Realism

The Artist does not take on geometric, cyber sigilism, or pattern-heavy designs.
The Artist prefers large-scale, multi-session projects.

The Artist does not tattoo faces or necks except case-by-case for clients who are established, career-secure, and age-appropriate.
Clients must be 18 years or older with valid ID.

7. Payment Methods

Accepted forms of payment include:

  • Cash

  • Credit/Debit Card

  • Tap-to-Pay

  • Afterpay for half-day or longer sessions (processing fees apply)

Out-of-state Clients may receive an invoice link to pay the booking fee electronically.

8. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Attend consultations as required (in-person for cover-ups; in-person or virtual for others)

  • Provide accurate contact information

  • Follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions

  • Ensure they are medically able to receive a tattoo

Guest policy: A single guest is allowed; the studio cannot accommodate large groups.

9. Artist Discretion

The Artist reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to:
inappropriate requests, unsafe skin conditions, disrespectful behavior, or attempts to negotiate pricing.

10. Gift Card Policy (No Refunds)

Gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All gift card purchases are final. Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash and cannot be refunded, replaced, or exchanged for any reason, including but not limited to loss, theft, expiration, dissatisfaction, or inability to schedule.

Gift cards may be used toward tattoo services or approved merchandise only and must be presented at the time of appointment or purchase. Gift cards do not guarantee availability with a specific artist and are subject to artist scheduling and studio policies.

Any remaining balance will be retained on the gift card for future use. Gift cards have no implied cash value and cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated.

11. Acknowledgment

By paying a booking fee or scheduling an appointment, the Client acknowledges they have read, understand, and agree to all terms stated in this policy.
These terms are legally binding and enforceable.
